Jollibee’s Biggest And Grandest Birthday Bash

Jollibee’s one-of-a-kind and biggest birthday celebration was attended by thousands of guests all across the country making it the grandest event this year. The surprise party held at the Philippine International Convention Center Forum (PICC) in Manila was planned by the Jollitown gang, Hetty, Popo, Yum and Twirlie and was graced by the members of Jollibee Kids Club (JKC) together with their families and friends. 35 selected Jollibee branches nationwide joined the fun and momentous event through live streaming. Simultaneously, JKC members all over the nation, from Luzon to Mindanao were fortunate to be part of Jollibee’s historic birthday celebration.

Several highlights of the event:

  • surprising Jollibee onstage by his friends
  • live staging of Jollitown that promotes kids’ multiple intelligences (Read about Jollitown HERE.)
  • exciting party games and prizes
  • interactive activities for the kids
  • special song and dance numbers

There were also celebrities who graced  and enjoyed the event  like Ms. Christine Jacob-Sandejas who came in with her two kids, 11-year-old Gabbie and 4-year-old Jaime. “One thing that I really enjoyed was seeing all the kids have a wonderful time” she says. “That for me is what Jollibee is all about-bringing smiles to children, and really bringing the family together for some quality bonding time.”

Christine Jacob-Sandejas with daughter Gabbie, son Jaime, and Jollibee Assistant Brand Manager Dianne Yorro.Mrs. Christine Jacob-Sandejas was happy to know that different kinds of intelligences were showcased at the event. “Recognizing multiple intelligences among children is important, especially during their formative years.”

She also agrees on encouraging individual approach to parenting for each child. “I have five kids and for me, all of them are different. As a parent, it’s important to get to know each child, spend time with them and know their strengths and weaknesses,” she says.

Anya, 8 y.o. and Nio, 3 y.o., kids of Tin-Tin Bersola-Babao were also present in the event wearing Jollibee’s color.

“My kids’ favorite part was when everyone surprised Jollibee onstage and his genuine reaction when he found out that his friends were there all along,” she says.

Ms. Tin-Tin was happy to see the delight in Nio’s eyes when he saw Jollitown come alive at the birthday bash. It served to enhance Nio’s reading experience of the Jollitown books and watching past Jollitown seasons since all the characters came alive in front of his own eyes.

I grew up as a jollibee kid! heehee. I really liked their burger back then but now my only favorite is the sundae and the burger steak (I prefer mc’s burger now) but I won’t regret being a jollibee kid before. I always enjoyed being the play area hihi. I must say Jollibee has gone a long way and is still doing so!:D
