Running Pairs Enjoy Fitness Race with Robinsons Supermarket 10th Fit and Fun Wellness Buddy Run

Robinsons Supermarket held the 10th Fit and Fun Wellness Buddy Run last July 2, 2017 at the Parade Ground of Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City in line with Robinsons Supermarket’s wellness campaign to continuously encourage more people to get back on track to a healthy and active lifestyle.

Going back to a healthy and active lifestyle  involves healthy eating and physical activities such as running and it is one of the most known physical activity and it is best done with a partner because it is safer and most of all it is more enjoyable.

“Through the years, the Fit and Fun Wellness Buddy Run has been a much-anticipated event for lot of people. It’s our kick-off as we celebrate with the nation, Wellness and Nutrition Month. It provides fun gateway activity for fitness newbies who are just about to start their wellness journey and loyal runners,”  said general manager of Robinsons Supermarket, Mr. Jody Gadia.

Famous fitness enthusiasts such as Gretchen Ho and Robi Domingo hosted the event and also the event featured exciting booths with lots of freebies from Nestle Philippines, Johnson & Johnson, Fonterra, Unilab and Wyeth Nutrition, Unilever, International Pharmaceuticals Inc., Procter & Gamble, Abbot Nutrition, Getz Bros, Ecossential, Del Monte, Foodsphere Inc., and Philusa.

Coaches Jim and Toni Saret lead the warm-up exercise and the cooldown exercise and invited everyone to register on-site for the Fit Filipino 1 Million Pounds National Weightloss Challenge,  which is the biggest on-ground and online wellness program in the country which aims to encourage everyone to pledge and lose weight.

Aside from this event, Robinsons Supermarket is also giving away Healthy You snack platters for a minimum purchase of Php 3,000 inclusive of Php 500 worth of participating items of the Wellness Festival.
