Celebrate the Season of Love with Romantic Flicks in Your Screens | Netflix #StreamTeam

While there are many forms of love, it’s often the romantic kind that leaves you with a giddy feeling. Thus it’s a good idea to start the season of love with romantic flicks that bring good vibes into your home. This month Netflix celebrates love with a handpicked playlist of the best romantic films for you to enjoy. I found some of my favorite movies in their list and I’d like to spread the love by sharing them with you.

Netflix films that tackle teen romance are great for a date night at home with your husband. These types of films are usually romantic comedies that leave you with a light giddy feeling. First on my Netflix list is To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, a movie based on a novel by Jerry Han. The story is about a teenage girl whose love letters to her secret crushes are sent out without her knowledge. It’s a fun and sweet movie that deals with the joy and complications of young love. I find it to be really entertaining and witty too. Another thing that I loved about it is that it took me back to the wonderful memories of high school crushes and courtships.
Other teen romantic flicks that you can enjoy in your home screens this season include Sierra Burgess is a Loser, The Kissing Booth, and Alex Strangelove. Sierra Burgess is a Loser deals with a virtual romance between an unpopular girl and a jock. Its’ plot may be typical in teen flicks but I find the film to be quite cute and entertaining.

The Kissing Booth is a film that tackles not just love but friendship as well. As for Alex Strangelove, I found it to be fun, witty, and interesting as it deals with love and gender orientation.

If you are looking for a more mature take on love then Ibiza, Set It Up, and Like Father are also good options.

Ibiza is a romantic comedy that touches on work, play, and flings. The main character Harper goes to Spain for an important work meeting and finds herself pursuing a fling with a famous DJ.

Set It Up is a film about two assistants playing matchmaker for their workaholic bosses. Those who want to add a bit of drama in their romantic flicks may enjoy the film Like Father. The story is about a career woman who got jilted at the altar then ended up going to a Caribbean Cruise with her estranged father.

You don’t have to be a romance junkie to enjoy these films. Aside from being fun and entertaining, it also gives you a bit of fresh insight on relationship issues. The beauty of having a handpicked list is you don’t have to spend a lot of time deciding on what movie to watch. Now that I have my own list of romantic flicks, all I have to do is set a series of Netflix movie date with my husband.
