Manila has plenty of tour attractions to offer for both local and foreign travellers. One such attraction is a tour of Binondo, Manila which is considered as the world’s oldest Chinatown. You can immerse yourself in the mix of Chinese-Filipino culture through walking tours, food trip adventures, and cultural tours. Now that Hotel Lucky Chinatown has opened its door to the public, you can also experience the comfort and culture of Chinoys in Binondo while on tour.
I got to see what this newest hotel has to offer when we attended the hotel opening last April 10, 2019. Located at the center of Binondo, the Hotel Lucky Chinatown is ideal for tourists who would like to make the most out of their city tour. Aside from being within walking distance of Binondo attractions, hotel guests can also take advantage of the hotel’s proximity to some of Manila’s iconic tourist spots. Historic sites like Intramuros, Manila Cathedral, Fort Santiago, San Agustin Church and Rizal Park are just approximately 2 to 3 kilometers away from the hotel. As such, hotel guests are able to enjoy their sightseeing at a much leisurely pace and without spending too much time in traffic.
After spending the day exploring the sights of Manila, hotel guests can return to the warm comfort of Hotel Lucky Chinatown. The hotel architecture is a mix of modern and contemporary design that blends well with the old Manila ambiance. Thereby giving guests some modern comfort with a traditional feel.
Hotel Lucky Chinatown offers 3 types of accommodation: a Standard Room, Junior Suite, and the Executive Suite. These rooms are all equipped with a flat-screen TV, Wi-Fi, and a seating area.
Guests can also enjoy hotel facilities like the Zen Garden and Spa with hot tub and sauna for their relaxation needs. There is also a spacious gym for those who want to work their muscles during their stay. Not just that, there are also 3 function rooms available for those who want to hold special events in the hotel.
Food and shopping are also conveniently available for guests. Hotel Lucky Chinatown houses the Zabana Bar and Café de Chinatown for your dining needs. If you are looking for variation then you can simply go next door to the Lucky Chinatown Shopping Center where you can find food chains, restaurants, and places to shop.
We got a taste of what the hotel has to offer during the lunch. Aside from the savory and filling lunch, we also got a tour of the hotel. I enjoyed the food, the program, the tour, and our souvenir bracelet that wards negativity and brings blessings in one’s life. After having a wonderful time at the hotel, I can truly say that Hotel Lucky Chinatown offers comfort and relaxation to its guests. They’ve got nicely furnished rooms and facilities, good food, and warm service.
