3 Tips to Make School Days More Magical

It’s almost a month since Keisha started academic year 2019-2020. Aside from the school supplies and other school-related stuff that I bought for her, I make sure that she has an appetizing baon so that school days will always be more magical and exciting for her.

While I don’t possess the bento-skills that other moms are blessed with, I still make baon preparation extra-special through these tips…

3 Tips to Make School Days More Magical

1. Decorate their baunan

Buy sticker packs at the nearest bookstore and decorate their baunan with cute stickers. You can also personalize it by having colorful stickers of their names made.

2. Surprise them with notes

Make a handwritten note on a piece of cute colorful paper and post it on top of his/her lunchbox. You can write a simple note like “Have a great day!” or “This is especially prepared by mom for his/her little one.”

3. Prepare the baon together

This is my favorite part. While baon preparation is usually made by moms, it’s best if you will encourage your kids to prepare their baon with you. And, you can make baon preparation time with the kids a magical bonding experience with Jack ‘n Jill Magic Junior. What I love about Magic Junior is that it has a perfect size and variety of flavors  that will surely bring a little bit of Magic to any regular school day. With a pack of Magic Junior crackers, moments at home and in school become extra special and more magical!

How about you mommies, what other baon tips can you share? I’m excited to find out!

  1. Sweet naman!. For me,Tinatanong kona lang ang ank ko kung ano gusto nyang lunch at snacks. Para sure makain nya tlaga.. thanks for the tips mommy K pwede ko din gawin.

  2. Super thanks for the idea Ms K, naku decorating their baunan surely gives them the excitement kapag recess time. Will try that leaving notes, haven’t tried and i love the idea ☺️
We love Magic Crackers too as pambaon now na 2 na nag aaral ko.

  3. As for me, I ask my daughter what does she like for baon. I don’t also have skills and time to make bento. My daughter loves to eat rice as well as biscuits or crackers. She is the one who chooses her crackers when we do grocery. So when there are days that she has Journalism Club meet up, I make her rice meals and I add crackers so she has something to munch during those club meet ups. Perfect ang Magic crackers kasi maliit lang she can bring different flavors para di manawa!

  4. Great tips. When I become a mum, I will utilize these tips. Especially the baon part where both of us prepare it together.

  5. Thank you for this Baon tips mommy. We’ll keep this in mind.. might gonna.do.this when my kids starts schooling ☺️
