The Day Keisha Met Daniel Padilla

Few weeks ago, I received a call from my mother-in-law. With an excited and giddy voice, she  instructed me to proceed to our garage with Keisha and happily informed me that Daniel Padilla will be riding our tourist bus for one of the episodes of Got To Believe. I jumped out of joy knowing that this young man is Keisha’s favorite star. Though, I was busy with household chores and paper works, I left everything at home.

Got To Believe is the top-rating prime time teleserye of Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo aired in ABS-CBN. Who wouldn’t know Chichay and Joaquin who have been a household name for the past months?

Just a little trivia, Daniel Padilla is my daughter’s crush. I’m honestly surprised and amazed that at the age of four, she has learned to admire others aside from me and her daddy.  Blame it on the Padilla blood I guess. Haha! She used to have her picture taken with Daniel’s standee in malls and oftentimes watches Daniel’s tv series, commercials, patronizes his songs, magazine features, and begged me a couple of times to let her watch “Pagpag”.

We arrived in Zuri Residences around 5:00 PM. That was the call time for the bus then. They were shooting at the model units there. We were able to see the model units by then, but, the lead stars transferred to a different location. My husband decided to leave the place since he had a 7:00 PM basketball game in Marikina.

Around 9:00 PM, I received a call from our driver. Lights were already set-up inside the bus and he already sighted Chichay and Joaquin. We decided to go back and along the way, we saw numerous vans along the streets with a bus in front. We waited for them to disembark the bus and requested for a picture with Daniel and Kathryn.

And, finally, Keisha’s most awaited moment.  She was speechless, starstruck and very happy when she saw Daniel Padilla. It was a dream come true for her. I was also blown by this young man’s persona. Even though, it was around 11:00 PM, and everyone was rushing to finish the shoot, he was very accommodating to the request of my little girl. He looked so humble, approachable and never made us feel that he’s tired and irritated with our presence. I started to like him since then. By the way, Kathryn Bernardo is so pretty in person.

Thank you to the staff of Got To Believe for hiring our bus and for Keisha’s photo with Daniel and Kathryn! Thank you for making my daughter’s dream come true!
