Have you attended a breakfast festival?
It’s a first for me to be invited to such festive occasion and I was delighted to see all my favorite morning spread gathered in one place at Robinsons Supermarket’s Breakfast Festival which was held in Robinsons Place Antipolo. As a believer that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, I strive to serve a healthy plate for my husband and daughter. Attending an event like this was such a great help to have more ideas on how I can make breakfast more fun and enticing, and at the same time, healthy for them.
We all know how Robinsons Supermarket put much effort in advocating health and wellness so this Breakfast Festival is another testament on their commitment to helping and encouraging Filipino families in preparing and indulging on healthier meals everyday.
The three-day weekend activities were comprised of different booths showcasing new and old-favorite breakfast products and activities for parents, kids and breakfast-lovers where they get the chance to whip up and prepare their own healthy breakfast with variety of cereals, oats, milk, syrups, dried fruits and nuts.
I visited the first day of the event and I had fun seeing how shoppers are enjoying in concocting their own blend of morning beverage. There were so many choices to choose from like different brands of coffee, tea, chocolate drinks and more. I also got to try other brand of coffees that I haven’t tasted yet.
If Keisha was with me, I’m sure she loaded herself with her favorite chocolate drinks and created her own fun-cakes. At the pancake station, kids and moms bonded over making bit-sized breakfast treats with a spread of freshly-sliced fruits, jams, syrups and a sprinkle of chocolates. This was also one of Keisha and I’s favorite bonding time at home. And, I hope you can try this activity as well with your kids.
On top of all these happenings, the highlight of the event was the initiative of Robinsons Supermarket to help raise P300,000 worth of donations to World Vision.
