OOTD: First Of May

Time flies fast. We’re down to the sixth month of the year. I’m sure most of you are not yet ready to bid goodbye to summer. But, it’s inevitable whether we like it or not, summer will officially be over.

You might be wondering why I named this post “First of May” when in fact it’s already June. May went by in a breeze. The past month was filled with personal and family activities just like last year. Maybe, you noticed that I didn’t have much blog posts the past weeks because I was extremely but happily preoccupied with all the events/happenings that I attended plus it’s the peak season of our business. Most of the time, I was dead tired and didn’t have much energy to blog. But, hey, everything that happened last month were all blissful and worth-sharing. I guess May is indeed my happy and lucky month. I hope I’ll find time to share all those wonderful and memorable happenings in my life. =)

For a change, I am sharing with everyone an “outfit of the day” post. This was what I wore on my BIRTHDAY, hence the title “First of May”.

To be honest, I’m not that comfortable to do an OOTD post since I don’t find myself really fashionable and also, I need to overcome my shyness in facing the camera. But, I hope sooner than later I’ll get the hang of it and gain a little confidence since this is really fun and liberating.

There’s one thing I realized while doing this, motherhood should not stop you from looking and feeling good as long as you do your role appropriately as a mother, wife and homemaker. Mommies, we need to be kind to ourselves. We deserve to be pampered once in a while and feel beautiful all the time even though, there’s a pile of household chores to be done. Because once we feel good on the inside, we radiate more love and happiness. We make a better family and build a more blissful home. Remember from the movie Rio 2 “happy wife, happy life”. Who wouldn’t agree?
