Magical Christmas at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort: A Wish Within Your Reach

Disneyland is one of the places that you never seem to get enough of. It’s simply a magical place you can’t help but enjoy regardless of your age. We have been to Hong Kong Disneyland 5 times already and we always have the time of our lives in every visit. One of the best times to visit Disneyland is during the Christmas Season because it gives you a doubly magical experience as the magic of Christmas and Disney magic come together. This year having a Disney Christmas at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort is on the top of our wish list.

Our most recent Disneyland trip was last March but we are considering making another trip this Christmas season. The Frozen-themed Winter Wonderland featured this Christmas at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort definitely makes it very tempting to go. My 10 year old daughter Keisha loves Frozen, both 1 and 2, so this is going to be a great treat for her. She still hasn’t shaken off the Frozen 2 fever since we watched it last November. Here are the things that we are excited about in having a magical Christmas experience in Hong Kong Disneyland Resort this 2019.

As mentioned above, my daughter super loves Frozen…Well okay, I do too. If you want to experience the Magic of Arendelle, which is perfect in HK winter weather, then now is the time to go. Imagine yourself meeting Elsa, Anna, and Olaf at the Frozen Fantasy Gardens Village with glittering snowflakes, shimmering trees, and sparkling lights & ornaments that truly make a Frozen themed Winter Wonderland. Frozen fan or not that is definitely something to look forward to. As for us fans, the “A Magical Frozen Snowfall” show is a must see. Here guests can watch the royal processional for Anna, the comical arrival of Olaf, and Queen Elsa’s magical snow. Plus of course the company of talented performers who will entertain you with your favourite Frozen songs.

Christmas isn’t just about magic, it is also about traditions. This is another thing that you can look forward to in a Disney Christmas at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort. They have created the perfect environment for you to immerse yourself in the magic of Christmas and take part in festive traditions. You’ve got tree-lighting ceremonies, Christmas carollers, Santa Mickey and of course the Mickey and Friends Christmastime Ball.

You can also add magic to the tradition of sharing Christmas meals with a selection of over 70 Christmas-themed food and beverages available in the resort. I for one love having breakfast at the Enchanted Garden Buffet where the Disney characters mingle and take pictures with guests. If you are staying there on Christmas day then there’s a Christmas and New Year’s Eve Set Dinner that you can enjoy.

We Pinoys are known for pasalubong so shopping is often part of our travel itinerary. Well brace yourselves because HK Disneyland Resort is launching over 300 seasonal items across resort stores.  For Frozen fans there are 90 Frozen-themed merchandise to choose from. These are great for gift-giving especially for those who love collection items. It is definitely going to be a thrilling Disney Christmas Shopping Spree for me and my daughter.

You can also book a stay in Disney hotels and celebrate Christmas traditions. Between December 1 and 26, 2019, hotel guests will be given complimentary cookie, as well as Christmas towels in their rooms. There will also be special Christmas activities that will take place across all three hotels – Disneyland Hotel, Disney Hollywood Hotel and Disney Explorer’s Lodge. You may choose to reserve the Kingdom Club Cinderella Suite or Kingdom Club Frozen Suites with picturesque interiors.

Last March, we stayed in the Disney Explorer’s Lodge and it’s one of the best experiences that our daughter had. For a complete Disneyland experience, I highly recommend for you to stay in one of the Disney hotels.
