Hey coffee aficionados! There’s a newly opened themed cafe in Quezon City that will surely catch your interest. If sipping a cup of freshly brewed coffee while reading a good book in the morning, afternoon or even dinner part of your daily routine? This one is definitely for you. Book and coffee lovers will surely love Book and Borders Cafe with its charming and inviting ambiance, good food and coffee not to mention the numerous displayed books on shelves that you can just grab in a snap.
Book and Borders Cafe encourages its customers to go through their extensive selection of books, and take their time to read. Unlike, in other crowded coffee shops where diners prefer to chit chat while hanging out. Here, a more relaxing and quiet ambiance is offered to customers who simply want to have a little peace away from the hustle and bustle of urban life.
Books are arranged according to different categories and displayed surrounding the four walls of the cafe just like in a library. Should you wish, you may request for a book stand to make reading much easier.
On top of the extensive selection of books, relaxing ambiance, comfortable seats, Books and Borders Cafe has delicious light fare meals and refreshing drinks.
Books and Borders Menu:
They offer delicious muffins, breads, cupcakes, pies, tarts, squares, doughnuts, and cakes like Salted Caramel Chocolate Cake. They also serve more filling menu options like the Truffle Mushroom Pasta and Tuyo Pasta, sandwiches like Beef Pastrami Panini, salad and even breakfast meals. For drinks, they have coffees and refreshing smoothies.
Here are some of the dishes I was able to try:
Beef Pastrami and Salted Hot Chocolate
Snapshots during the ribbon cutting:
Book and Borders Cafe brand ambassadors, Karylle Tatlonghari and Benjamin Alves were present during the opening. Being innately book lovers, both of them perfectly represent the vision of the cafe which is to encourage the habit of reading as well as indulging in one’s love for coffee.
Read. Sip. Dine.
Book and Borders Cafe is definitely a must-try place to visit not just for book and coffee lovers but, a place for anyone who wants to just relax, hang out and veer away from the busy metro.
