Kiddie OOTD: Rainy Day Outfit

I feel like rejoicing, finally, our internet connection is back after 4 days of being offline. Smart Bro always has this technical activity in its base station. I wonder if most of its subscribers experience the same internet service disruption monthly. For the past few days, I only used my Iphone’s 3G service but, apparently, I wasn’t able to post a blog using it. The wi-fi device that we use for our tourist buses didn’t work too here at home. How lucky I can be? The result, I have tons of workload to do today for our business and for my blog. I just hope there will be no power failure with the kind of weather we have now.

It’s raining cats and dogs over the weekend and today. It was announced that  there’s no classes in pre-school, elementary and high school in most areas including ours. So here I am with my daughter at home cuddling and snuggling under the sheets. I hope she falls asleep after watching her favorite Nickelodeon shows so I can start working and finishing my backlogs. To those who don’t know, I run our family business here at home. We have tourist buses and mini-buses for rent. I’ll make a separate post featuring our transportation service and another one on  how I manage to work at the comfort of our own home.

For now, let me share with you the rainy day outfit that Keisha put together by herself. keisha with raincoatI was actually surprised when I saw her wearing this and asked me to take her photos.
Keisha wearing her Gap JacketShe even used the umbrella she got from her classmate’s birthday party. Keisha wearing her GAP jacketIsn’t it wonderful when kids know what they want? I love it every time she speaks her own mind. I let her grow following and doing what she wants but, of course, with my guidance. I am striving to be the kind of parent who listens, guides and understands and not the one who dictates but I apply this parenting method as long as what she wants will cause no harm on her or on the people around her.

Keisha’s outfit:

  • dress – Carters ( Actually, she’s wearing her sleepwear.)
  • jacket – GAP from Tita Ann
  • pink cushioned boots – bought that in Hongkong
  • umbrella – gift from her classmate

‘Til Keisha’s next outfit post. I hope I’ll have the courage to post my outfit too soon. =) For now, I’ll go back searching for www.pestproductsonline.com, I hope I can find the product that I need.

Happy Monday! Stay safe and dry!
