Morellato, Italy’s largest watch and jewelry brand, officially launched Morellato Style Series last May 21, 2015 at SM Makati. Fashionistas, style seekers, lifestyle and fashion bloggers all gathered for an informative afternoon discussion on how to elegantly mix and match accessories to complement your choice of wardrobe.
This Morellato Style Series workshop is actually what I really need since I’m one of those who finds it hard to find the best accessory to match and complement my outfit. That’s why I was very ecstatic to grace this event as I badly wanted to learn.
For its first series, Morellato presented premier stylist and award-winning lifestyle blogger Jenni Epperson. She’s actually one of the bloggers I look up to because of her elegant and sophisticated style. Right enough to say that I’m hoping to be like her when time comes. She graciously talked about how to properly and fashionably mix and match Morellato pieces with different sets of outfits.
Jenni Epperson basically shared three of the season’s biggest style trends – Rose Gold, Lace Cutouts and Pearls.
Rose Gold – According to Jenni, Rose Gold is easy to mix and match with different accessories since it can work well in gold or in silver. Hence, it’s a versatile choice that can easily complement any look and any skin color.
Lace Cutout – This represents more of women’s feminine side. The intricate design shouts for elegance and sophistication.
Pearls – Pearls are my personal favorite. I instantly feel classy each time I wear my pearl earrings. It’s a no-brainer ear accessory for me. Nowadays, pearls are designed together with metal that makes it look more modern and wearable.
Aside from sharing the biggest style trend this season, Jenni also discussed how to properly mix and match Morellato accessories to different set of outfits. Check the photo above on how she accessorized the ladies in their party, business and casual outfits. The accessories instantly added a complementing dimension on their overall look making it more appealing.
There was also a game for the attendees, we were divided in two groups and were asked to accessorize the two models – Ms. Mica and Ms. Wilma, during the event.
Here I am together with my groupmates. And, yes, we won the challenge! Wooohoo!
Thank you so much Morellato for a fun and informative afternoon!
