Kitty Song Covey stars in “XO, Kitty,” a Netflix series about a teenage matchmaker who thinks she knows everything about love but learns that relationships are far more complicated when it’s your own heart on the line. Kitty moves halfway across the world to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend and discovers this firsthand. The series is set to premiere on May 18.
The co-showrunners of the highly anticipated “XO, Kitty” Netflix series, Jenny Han and Sascha Rothchild, have expressed their excitement for the lead character, Kitty Song Covey, and her story. Han praised the decision to allow Kitty to embark on her own journey, free from the shadows of her sisters, while Rothchild noted that the character is following in the footsteps of Lara Jean.
The highly anticipated “XO, Kitty” Netflix series is produced by Awesomeness Studios, with Jenny Han and Sascha Rothchild serving as executive producers and co-showrunners. Matt Kaplan of ACE Entertainment is also an executive producer. The series is directed by Jennifer Arnold, Jeff Chan, Pamela Romanowsky, and Katina Medina Mora and stars Anna Cathcart as the titular Kitty Song Covey. Other talented cast members include Yunjin Kim, Sarayu Blue, and John Corbett.
